Violet Road is a Melbourne based floral studio combining gorgeous botanical elements with artistic design flair. We specialise in weddings and corporate events and we craft every design to be a meaningful, one-of-a-kind piece that reflects your personality and accentuates the style of your event. We work throughout Melbourne, the Mornington & Bellarine peninsulas and the Yarra Valley.

WEDDINGS
Violet Road will dress your wedding in a style that speaks volumes about you as a couple. We take the time to listen to your ideas and dreams, answer all your questions, and plan out designs that are as unique as you are.
Our process is simple:
- We meet with you to talk through your ideas, dreams and inspirations.
- Your quote comes with a comprehensive mood board, plenty of inspiration and options to choose from. We provide visual ideas and a comprehensive explanation, so you know exactly what you will get. Our in-depth work at this stage will leave you with the confidence that we have understood your vision and we can deliver it.
- We do a final consultation 4-6 weeks before your wedding, to make sure everything is clear and all the details are finalised.
- We create your beautiful blooms! Our attention to detail and professional experience mean that not only will you get the show-stopping flowers of your heart’s desire, but we will coordinate with wedding planners and venues to ensure our deliveries and installations run smoothly and don’t detract from the focus of your happy day.
EVENTS
Violet Road specialises in using bold, colour-rich palettes to make stunning statements and accents for any event. We can work with your brand colours and the vision of your event to enhance venues with fresh, beautiful centrepieces and statement arrangements.

ABOUT VIOLET ROAD.
Violet Road is the creation of Kym Abela, a florist with over 20 years experience.
Kym’s childhood dream was to be a florist; she is one of those people who just know where they are headed. From those colour-saturated, perfumed, childhood dreams, Kym launched her career by learning her craft in a variety of settings. She gathered experience for large and small events, and focused on developing her talent and expertise in working with colour, structure and design.
On moving to a large property with space to set up her own warehouse-sized studio, Kym knew it was time to strike out on her own, and Violet Road was born. Kym works with a hand-picked team of talented florists, and oversees every Violet Road project from initial contact through to delivery.
Kym is people-focused and committed to delivering a wonderful client experience, along with bountiful bouquets. She actively listens to her clients ideas and works to deliver the florals of their dreams. Always mindful of the busy schedules and priorities that accompany every wedding and corporate event, Kym is adept at ensuring that your floral arrangements are delivered on time and fuss-free, so that your flowers will be one smooth element on your big day.
